New Arrivals – Berlin, Crew and Cricket

Some exciting new pieces have recently arrived and we wanted to share!

Our Berlin Dining Table is made from sustainable Suar wood, a straight grain, coarse textured hard-wood from Indonesia.

It features solid steel legs, for that bulky, modern feel, and a salvaged grey finish that is hard to resist. Each table top is individually pieced together so that no two are alike.

We’ve gone back to the 1950’s for our next big thing. Harry Bertoia’s iconic mid-century modern  “Diamond Chair” gets a make-over for our dynamic new Crew Chair. A sturdy molded metal frame, finished in black, and a comfortable foam and vinyl seat combine to create a visually arresting stand-out. Good indoors or out.

Bertoia said about the chairs: “They are mainly made of air, like sculpture. Space passes right through them.”

We couldn’t agree more!

Another mid-century modern stunner is our new Cricket Chair. Inspired by Danish designers of the 50’s and 60’s we’ve combined comfort and classic style to virtual perfection in these “Wishbone” chairs. Made with steam bent ash/beech, back and rails, tapered legs and natural paper cord seats our replica of the Hans Wegner classic retains all the charm of the original without compromising on quality or design.

Generously sized with lightweight construction and ethically sourced materials make for the perfect occasional or dining chair.

We are always striving for innovative and remarkable pieces to add to our collection. These three new arrivals certainly fit the bill.
