Tip Kits

We will include Tip Kit and Instructions with your order if we feel the item(s) pose a top over risk. If you believe your order is missing a Tip Kit, please contact us to have one mailed to you.

Storage Bed Safety

Your safety and the safety of your customers is important. Please read this essential information on Style In Form Storage Bed Safety and share with your customers and consumers.

Never allow children near the bed when opening and closing it to prevent accidents. Specifically, DO NOT allow children to:

  • Sit inside the storage bed while it is open
  • Hang from the strap that is used to open the bed
  • Climb on top of the mattress while the storage bed is open
  • Failure to heed this warning could result in serious injury, suffocation, and even death.

Additional Safety Information and Warnings

  • Do not open and close the storage bed by pulling on the straps alone. Always open and close the storage bed by placing one hand on the frame and one hand on the straps. Use both hands to open the storage bed. Failure to heed this warning could result in serious injury to fingers and hands. Use both hands to open the storage bed. See the video on this page.
  • Always be careful not to place hands near or under hinges when opening and closing the bed. Failure to heed this warning could result in serious injury to fingers and hands.
  • Do not stand, jump or sit on the slats. Failure to heed this warning could result in serious injury.
  • Do not open the storage bed when there is no mattress on top of it.
  • Never move the bedframe while the storage portion is open.
  • Do not open or close the storage bed multiple times per day.
  • Do not use the product if it is damaged or showing signs of malfunction.

Rug Safety

Rugs should always be used with the added protection and safety of a rug pad. Not only do they enhance the look and feel of a rug, but they are also an important protection measure.  Never place a Style In Form rug on any floor without a properly sized non-slip rug pad underneath. A proper rug pad will:

  • Prevent your rug from slipping and getting bunched up which can be a tripping hazard
  • Provide protection for your floor and rug
  • Bring comfort to your tootsies, and
  • Help keep the rug from wearing out prematurely. 

Rug Pad Size Guide

A rug pad should be 2″ shorter in length and width than the overall size of the rug giving 1” of space on all sides. Do not go with a smaller size. 

Example: An 8 x 10 rug should have a rug pad that is 7’10” x 9’10”

Choosing the Right Rug Pad

There are several types of rug pads available for different uses and floor types. Please research what rug pad type is best for the space.
