Founded in 1999 by childhood friends Tim Nokes and Mike Gordon, Stonewaters is a testament to their shared love for interior design and quality craftsmanship. Originating from Banff, Alberta, both Tim and Mike brought unique experience to the table, with years in the Graphic Design and Flooring field respectively. In 2005, Stonewaters found its new home in an iconic downtown location, an award-winning architectural redesign by Tim. About Edelweiss Village & Resort Under the new ownership of Montayne, Edelweiss Village & Resort is a unique destination that blends historical charm with modern comforts. Established in 1911, Edelweiss Village was originally home to the legendary Swiss Guides, pioneers in Western Canadian alpinism. Today, the resort honors their enduring legacy through meticulously restored Swiss Guide Cabins that offer guests an immersive experience into the tranquility of nature.
